Why wash your home or building?
Your siding, trim and paint protect everything underneath them. Here in the Willamette Valley, our long wet seasons let mold, mildew, algae and dirt build up fast. A regular wash keeps your home or building looking its best and protects the surfaces that protect it.
Growth on your paint breaks it down
Mold, mildew and other growth don’t just sit on your paint and siding.
They damage them. The growth holds moisture against the surface, which
leads to staining, peeling and blistering paint, and over time it can
rot bare wood. Regular washing removes it before it does that damage.
Our eco-friendly wash
Our eco-friendly wash goes to work on mold, mildew, algae and moss, then
breaks down into plain water and oxygen. It leaves no residue on your
siding, nothing harmful in your flower beds and nothing toxic running
into the storm drains. And we never use chlorine bleach.

The truth about “soft wash”
What many companies call “soft wash” is usually a heavy chemical bath of bleach, which is sodium hypochlorite, mixed with dish soap. They soak the whole house, then stand on the ground and rinse it off from below.
On a two- or three-story home with high vaulted walls, that can put them 30 or 40 feet from the surface they’re cleaning. From that far away, nobody can see failing caulking around your window trim, peeling paint or soft wood. The bleach can also fade paint, damage surfaces and kill the plants around your home. We don’t work that way. We get close enough
to see every surface we clean, so we clean it right and catch small problems while they’re still cheap to fix.
Why the north side turns green and black
The north side of your home gets the least sun and stays damp the longest, so it’s where mold, mildew and algae grow first and fastest. Shady spots under trees and next to tall shrubs act the same way. Bark mulch against the house can also host artillery fungus, which shoots sticky black specks onto your siding and windows. We’ll point it out if we see it.
The 6-inch rule: where rot starts
Home inspectors recommend keeping wood siding and trim at least 6 inches above the soil, mulch and landscaping. When dirt or mulch sits higher than that, the bottom of your siding stays wet, and wood starts to rot
once it holds about 20% moisture. Soil and mulch piled against the house
can also invite termites and other pests. We keep an eye on these
trouble spots every time we wash.
Commercial buildings, storefronts and HOAs
We wash more than homes. We clean storefronts and retail centers,
offices, apartments and multi-family buildings, HOA common areas,
restaurants and medical buildings. We schedule around your business
hours so your customers and tenants aren’t disrupted, and you get one
point of contact from start to finish.
Save money with a maintenance contract
Regular washing is one of the easiest ways to protect your home or building. Our longer maintenance contracts include washes on a set schedule, so we catch problems while they’re still cheap to fix and help you avoid costly repairs. Over the years, a maintenance contract saves
you money. Ask us about our maintenance plans.
